Everyone knows that you can access erotica
and sexually explicit material on the Web. If you are concerned about this, web guidance systems, such as Cyberpatrol,
or Netnanny, are available. These
systems are not perfect by any means and will block out some very educational
and informative pages... (probably even this one) The best way you can protect
your children is to talk to them, educate them, and teach your moral and ethical
standards BY EXAMPLE. There is no program that can do that for you.

accurate, reliable, or up-to-date. You must learn to Think
and Reason things through... logically. Almost anyone can put up
almost anything on the Web for almost any purpose. Examine
assumptions, including and perhaps especially, your own.
~ You can locate pictures of naked
children on the web. You can also find sites that tell how to make bombs. There are pages that show you how
to break the law. There are even sites that try to lure your children in to
music-disdaining fundamentalist churches. But you have to try to find
them...
~ The Web is a fairly accurate
reflection of the world we live in. If you go looking for nasty, evil,
slimy things you will find them. If you look for nice, friendly, positive,
productive things, you will find them. If you are finding too much of what
you say you are not looking for... perhaps it time for some deep
introspection and self honesty.
